How does rescheduling work?

Rescheduling your session is possible and depends on timing and your provider's availability.

Request Approval

Reschedule requests are sent to your provider for approval. Until the request is accepted, your original session time remains confirmed.

If the request is made more than 24 hours before the session

You can request a new time within 7 days before or after your original session.

If your provider accepts the request:

- A 7.5% rescheduling fee applies

- The standard cancellation policy will apply to the rescheduled session

If the request is made within 24 hours of the session

You can request a new time within 2 days before or after your original session.

If your provider accepts the request:

- 6 to 24 hours before: $20 per hour of total session duration

- 3 to 6 hours before: $30 per hour of total session duration

If the rescheduled session is later canceled, the full session price will apply.

Important Notes

- Only one reschedule request per session is supported

- If the provider does not accept or does not respond, the original session time remains scheduled

- Sessions involving multiple therapists, such as couples sessions, are generally not eligible for rescheduling
