Over half of our classes are based on Vinyasa Flow ("BigToe Flow") but we also offer a variety of other styles to make your experience rich and varied. Many of our students have their favorite classes and also try other styles every now and then.

BigToe Flow classes offer Open Level Vinyasa Flow and are typically characterized by sun salutations and a series of flowing standing and seated postures. Vinyasa classes generally consist of interlinked postures and create a movement meditation that reveal all forms as ephemeral. As you move through synchronized breath and movement, these classes will likely leave you sweaty, open and inspired.

Rookie Yoga is a specially designed Vinyasa flow sequence that provides just enough challenge to those who:

  • Have never taken a Yoga class

  • Have taken fewer than 10 Yoga classes

  • Want to get back into Yoga after a break

  • Feel it's a good time to explore the basics again

Forrest Yoga, created by Ana Forrest, is an invigorating practice that balances active sequences and sustained poses to build both strength and flexibility in the body. Deep breathing and abdominal exercises work to fortify the core, helping students go deeper into poses and feel sensations that often go unnoticed. What to expect: The first 20-30 minutes of class focuses on opening tight spots, core work, and strength building poses. Then comes the hot part: ride your breath through sun salutations and long held standing poses. Apex poses may include: arm balances, inversions, back bends. Pose modifications are always given to suit all levels of students.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body with a goal of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

In addition to meeting other women and building community, prenatal yoga helps you to connect to your body in a beautiful new way, build strength, align your muscles and bones avoiding common aches and pains so that you feel great throughout your pregnancy, and making labor and delivery easier.
