Happy Holidays everyone! I think that Yoga is kind of like Fermat's last theorem. There was no scientific proof of its validity for a while but the fact that it generally provided its practitioners what it claimed to provide meant that nobody could "disprove" it either by finding a counterexample in the form of a perceived benefit that actually didn't exist. Of course, science is now coming close to accepting its benefits and there are many studies, small and large, that point to its physical and mindfulness benefits. It took about three and a half centuries for someone to prove the beautiful theorem postulated by Fermat. Aren't we glad humans exhibited similar patience with the practice of Yoga!
